Higgins won a thrilling final with Judd Trump at the Crucible to claim his fourth world championship crown and the Scot now has his sights set on Stephen Hendry's record of seven titles.

Mark Williams feels he played well in his semi-final and is happy to be world number one

Mark Williams couldn’t quite match John Higgins in the 2011 World Snooker Championship semi-final, dropping 17-14 to the Scot after a tense end on Saturday evening.

Williams statements he wasn’t affected by the heckler during the final session and the Welshman is delighted that he has landed the world number one slot even if he wasn’t quite able to make it to the final.
